La música de Gisela Novais & The Blue Summers es "como un Dry Martini", una mezcla de Swing, Jazz, Soul y Rhythm & Blues que te puedes imaginar en un guateque de los publicistas de Mad Men o en una banda sonora de la Nouvelle Vague.
Tras un amplio recorrido por salas, presentando su primer álbum “The Perfect One”, que obtuvo el galardón al Mejor Álbum de Debut de la Música Independiente en los prestigiosos Premios Pop-Eye, Gisela Novais y Guillermo Summers vuelven a combinar con elegancia melodías y ritmos del pasado para procesar desde una perspectiva actual, un sonido original, sobrio, directo y emocionante.
La extraordinaria voz de Gisela Novais, evoca a la vez el poder de Sugar Pie de Santo, la plenitud del alma de Ella Fitzgerald, el pavoneo rítmico de Ray Charles, y la soltura melódica de Peggy Lee mientras la banda, ‘The Blue Summers’, desgranan sus excepcionales temas propios a través de arreglos elegantes y sofisticados, con sutileza y garra al mismo tiempo.
